Valérie Gombart, Seventure
Valérie Gombart, Membre du Directoire de Seventure, a démarré sa carrière comme analyste au sein de Banque Populaire Création, fonds d’amorçage du Groupe Banques Populaires. En 1997, elle participe au lancement du premier FCPI en France et a depuis investi plus de 50 M€ dans de jeunes sociétés innovantes. Valérie Gombart est diplômée de l’ESC Nantes et d’un 3ème cycle universitaire de "droit de l’ingénierie financière". Au sein de Seventure, Valérie anime l’équipe d’investissement du secteur des technologies de l’information. Valérie a participé au financement et siégé au conseil d’administration des sociétés Maximiles (Alternext), Memscap (Eurolist C), VistaPrint (Nasdaq), depuis leurs débuts jusqu’à leur cotation. Valérie siège aujourd’hui au conseil d’administration de Memscap, Parrot, Sefas, Quescom, Volubill et Xiring et dispose de droits de visite au Conseil d'Adiministration de Tak’Imaging Inc.
Rolf Schneider-Günther, BayTech Venture Capital
Rolf Schneider-Günther is the founder of BayTech Venture Capital. Before BayTech Venture Capital he was with Atlas Venture which he had joined in 1992. He became Managing Director Germany and General Partner in the same year.
His track record includes a substantial number of investments which resulted in extremely successful exits via their IPOs such as Morphosys AG, Micronas AG, WaveLight Laser Technologie AG, Medigene AG, Actelion AG and Cardima Inc. He started his career as CFO of a german high-technology company which is a world leader in chemical fiber processing. In 1986 he joined Merck, Sharpe & Dohme as director of Business Development and moved to director of Strategic Planning and Controlling in 1988.
Rolf Schneider-Günther holds a masters degree and a Ph.D. in Business Administration and studied Pharmacology at the Universities of Regensburg and Munich.
Gilles MEYER, President
Gilles is a technology entrepreneur and the CEO of QuesCom, a provider of advanced telecom appliances. Previously, he co-founded and was the CEO of Voxpilot, the first pan-European VoiceXML hosting service. Voxpilot was sold to Paris-based Eureka Soft in 2004. Following the sale of the Company, Gilles became CEO of Eurekasoft re-named Voxpilot and has led it to become a major player in its industry with important references all around the globe. Voxpilot was sold in 2008 to TETCO Technologies. Prior to Voxpilot, Gilles was an associate with top tier Management Consulting firm, Booz Allen and Hamilton in NYC and founded his first technology company, Tutticom in 2000. Tutticom was subsequently sold to Voxpilot in 2001. Gilles started his career as an injection moulding plant manager, based in Milan, Italy for a French/Italian company. Gilles holds a Master in Mechanical Engineering from INSA, a Master in Polymer Sciences from the Ecole d’Application des Hauts Polymeres (EAHP) and an MBA from the Harvard Business School (HBS).
